Nuh instructs his people: seek forgiveness of your Lord, and He will send rain in abundance, increase you in wealth and children, and grant you gardens and rivers (71:10–12). The mechanism named here is istighfar. If a person recites nothing else for rizq, this passage is the most explicitly documented route in the entire Quran, and it costs nothing to act on.

2. Surah Al-Waqi’ah (56)

The most famous wealth surah — and the one requiring the most honesty. The narration that whoever recites it every night will never be afflicted by poverty is very widely transmitted and is classified as weak (da’if) by many hadith scholars. We share it as it has been passed down and leave the grading visible. What is not in dispute is the surah’s actual subject: it divides humanity into three groups by what they truly valued, which is itself a correction of how a person relates to money.

3. Surah Al-Jumu’ah (62)

After the Friday prayer ends, the instruction is explicit: disperse through the land and seek the bounty of Allah (62:10). This is Tier A and it frames provision correctly — worship first, then active pursuit of earnings. The surah is a rebuke to those who abandoned the sermon for a passing trade caravan, which makes it the definitive text on the order of priorities in a working life.

4. Surah At-Talaq (65)

Verses 2–3 are among the most quoted in moments of financial fear: whoever is conscious of Allah, He makes a way out for him and provides for him from where he does not expect. It appears in the middle of divorce legislation — provision promised precisely where a household is fracturing and income is least certain. Tier A, and specific to people in genuine difficulty rather than people seeking increase.

5. Ya Razzaq & Ya Fattah (Names 17 & 18)

Ar-Razzaq is the Provider — the one who supplies not only what sustains the body but what sustains the heart. Al-Fattah is the Opener, invoked when a path appears closed: a blocked payment, a stalled business, a door that will not move. These two are the most commonly paired names in rizq practice. Specific repetition counts come from spiritual tradition rather than authentic hadith, and we say so on each name’s page.

How to Use This Properly

Everything on this page is a means — what the scholars call a sabab. A means is something Allah has made a cause of benefit. It is not a mechanism that compels an outcome, and the difference between those two ideas is the difference between worship and superstition.

Three conditions were set by the classical scholars for any recitation or written remedy to be permissible, and they are agreed upon across the schools:

1. It must consist of the Quran, the names and attributes of Allah, or authentic supplication — nothing unknown, no symbols whose meaning cannot be read.
2. It must be in Arabic or in language whose meaning is understood, so that nothing objectionable is being said unknowingly.
3. The one reciting must believe the effect comes from Allah alone, and never from the words, the paper, the ink or the practitioner.

Alongside this, the Quran consistently pairs supplication with action. Surah Al-Jumu’ah tells the believers to seek provision after the prayer ends. Musa still had to face Pharaoh after asking for ease. Recitation that replaces effort, medical treatment or honest dealing contradicts the very texts being recited.
