Surah Jathiya has 37 verses in this Surah and it was revealed in Makkah.
The designation of the Chapter is taken from Verse 28 in which the word jathiya denotes kneeling. God Almighty is described as the Omnipotent (al-’Aziz) and the Wise (al-Hakim) in the opening and closing Verses of the Chapter.
The subject matter of the Chapter includes the Greatness of the Qur’an, arguments substantiating Divine Unity, refutation of materialistic views, history of some ancient peoples, warning to the astray, encouragement to forgiveness, and allusions to the depictions of resurrection.

Surah Jathiya Benefits are many few are given below
1) If recited, there will be the protection of newborn from all calamities
2) The reciter will not so much as see Jahannam
3) They will be safety from those who slander and backbite
Whoso recites this surah would not go near the hell, and by the grace of the merciful Lord live in peace and tranquility in the company of the Holy Prophet; all his faults would remain hidden.
Whoso writes this surah on paper and wears it around the neck as a taweez, would remain safe from the persecution and oppression of unjust men-in-authority; and he would be a popular and very much liked person among the people; he would also remain safe from the mischief of backbiting; and if this tawiz is put around the neck of the newly born child or tied to his arm, he would stay in divine safety and protection.
