Surah Nuh Benefits, Virtues of Chapter 71

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In The Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Surat Nuh, is the 71st Chapter, the Quran refers to Noh’s prophet hood in snippets. Nuh is a messenger of God. When Nuh realizes the messages are not accepted by the community, he supplicated to God. surah nuh benefits

ALLAH planned to flood the community of Nuh at a specified time. God commanded Nuh to warn the people of the flood.

ALLAH brings forth the water from the skies to prove Noh’s message to be accurate.

In the Quran, the flood is a symbolization of the mercy of God to the believers. God gives the world a new beginning. The disbelievers disbelieved God’s message and messenger Nuoh so they were drowned.

Because his people are unable to grasp the idea of the existence of one God, the lives of Muhammad and Nuoh are parallel to each other for the time of the revelation of this surah.

The surah was used to increase the faith of the believers; it shows that Noh before Muhammad had difficulties in dealing with the disbelievers of his time.

Surah Nuh Benefits

Our Beloved Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) said that those who recite surat Nuon will get a reward equal to the number of people who believe in Prophet Nuh (a.s.).
Our Beloved Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (R.H.) said that those who believe in Allah (s.w.t.), His Prophet (s.a.w.) and recite the Holy Qur’an, should never leave out sura Nuoh as they will gain a place among the favored servants of Allah (s.w.t.) by reciting it. He will get three places in Jannah instead of one and he will be given 200 houries.
Any supplications made after reciting this surah are quickly answered by Allah.
The one who recites this surah often will not die until he sees his place in Jannah.
