بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

الر تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ

الف، لام، را (حقیقی معنی اﷲ اور رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہی بہتر جانتے ہیں)، یہ (برگزیدہ) کتاب اور روشن قرآن کی آیتیں ہیں

Alif, Lam, Ra. (Only Allah and the Messenger know the real meaning.) These are the verses of the (Glorious) Book and the Enlightening Qur’an.

Surah Al-Hijr (The Rock) No. 15 |Revealed in Mecca |99 verses in 6 sections

This Suraah contains 99 verses and is generally believed to be chronologically the fifty-second Suraah. It was revealed to the Prophet (S) in Mecca prior to his Migration. The Arabic term ‘Hijr’ is the name of a town where the people of Hadrat Salih used to live.

The name of this Sura Hijr, is taken from the eightieth verse of it which deals with the people of Salih, saying:

“And indeed the inhabitants of Hijr (also) rejected the messengers.”

Most of the discussions in this noble Surah are about the accusations and scoffs of the pagans unto the Qur’an and the blissful Prophet (S), as well as some commandments to him to be patient and perseverant with forbearance towards them.

1) Whoever recites this sura good deeds equal to the number of muhajirin and ansar would be written in his record of deeds.

2) Whoever writes this suraah with saffron on a china plate, washes it with clean water and gives it to a woman who has no milk she, after drinking it, would have enough milk to feed her child.

3) Who ever writes this surah Hijr on paper and wears on his body there would always be gain and profit in business dealings.

4) Who ever writes this surah on paper and wears on his body his valuables would be kept safe.
