Almighty Allah says in the Glorious Qur’an:
O Believers! Do not follow the footsteps of Satan, and whoever follows the footsteps of Satan, then he (Satan) certainly commands to practise (and promote) immorality and sinful deeds. And if there had not been Allah’s Grace and His Mercy upon you then none of you would ever have been pure (from the stain of the sin of slander).
But Allah purifies whom He wills and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.►{Chapter 24 , Sura Al-Noor, Verse 21}
The verse mentions FOOTSTEPS OF SATAN, because Satan pulls human beings step by step towards immorality.
Its mentioned in a hadith that: Hadrat Hudhaifa(Radiyallahu Anhu) told that he heard Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) say, “Temptations will be presented to men’s hearts as a reed mat is woven stick by stick, and any heart which is impregnated by them will have a black mark put in it , but any heart which rejects them will have a white mark put in it.
The result is that hearts will be of two kinds, one white like a white stone which will not be harmed by temptation as long as the heavens and the earth endure, and the other black and dust-colored like a vessel which is upset, not recognizing what is reputable or rejecting what is disreputable , but being impregnated with its passion.”►{Sahih Muslim , Kitab Al-Iman,Hadith #277}
-Some Scholars say that the ‘REED MAT’ is a figurative term here and it could be a reference to the invention of Televisions before the End of Times. Television has turned out be a medium through which Devil is polluting minds of people by showing graphic violence and obscenity.
Devil’s Trap
-Satan is showing Fitan(violence and obscenity ) through televisions to people.
– As Satan shows temptations to the human Heart , the heart is passively taking these fitan.
-As heart gets affected by the Fitan(temptations-Devil’s Trap) , in the spiritual realm, a black dot appears on the heart and the darkness of heart grows as it keeps taking in the fitan(temptations) until it becomes completely black and it won’t be able to recognize good and wont reject evil anymore.
-Once the heart is programmed it won’t accept the truth as it now has a relativistic view of the world due to the fitan it’s been impregnated with.
-Every Muslim begins reading Qur’an by reading Audu Billah(seeking refuge from accursed Satan) because Satan can make you go astray with the Qur’an. Because if you are under the influence of Satan, he’ll lead you astray through Qur’anic verses. Every deviant sect in Islam quoted Qur’an to prove its deviance.
-Sidi Ahmed Zarruq says in his Qawaid that : No reality comes in this world except that its met with its demonic opposite. Marriage comes into the world and its demonic Opposite is adultery (zina).Demonic Opposite of clarity of mind is confusion.
-Statistics have shown that violence on the screen has a clear correlation to violent behavior in real life. One needs only to observe 10-year-old boys after they have just watched a kung fu movie. Mirror neurons and the effects of violence on them are well known. In their important book, Stop Teaching Our Kids to Kill: A Call to Action Against TV, Movie & Video Game Violence, authors Lt. Col. Dave Grossman and Gloria DeGaetano show cogently that people who grow up watching violence in films, television, and video games become desensitized to real violence, and thresholds of graphic violence rise as people become accustomed to it.
More than 1,000 studies on the effects of television (Devil’s Trap) and film violence have been done over the past 40 years. The majority of these studies reach the same conclusion: television and film violence leads to real-world violence.
