Allah Subhanahu wa Ta\u2019ala \u00a0mentions in the Qur’an:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n “O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint.”<\/em><\/strong>\u25ba{Surah Al Baqara,Verse 183}<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Ibada is not an objective for itself. It is a means to the objective which is taqwa of Allah (generally translated as God consciousness).\u00a0Many of the ibadat have patience as their objective. Reported in hadith Al Tarmidhi Ibn Majah with hasan isnad:\u00a0<\/strong>Fast is half of patience.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>So in fact it\u2019s a school who\u2019s goal is\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>to gain piety<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Signs of success for Ramadan fasting:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n – Are you better than the previous Ramadan? As indicated in this hadith:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n “The evil glance is one of the poisoned arrows of Shaytan, on him be God’s curse. Whoever forsakes it for the fear of Allah, will receive from Him (Great and Gracious is He) a faith, the sweetness of which he will find within his heart.”<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u25ba(al-Haakim)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span>If you abandon looking at something forbidden, Allah will cause you to taste a sweetness in your heart. Avoid overeating during suhoor and iftaar. Don\u2019t overeat!<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nThere has to be Iqbal: rushing with your body, heart and soul to the observation of Allah.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\n“Say Allah and leave them in their playfulness”<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u25ba{Surat Al An\u2019am Verse 91}<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

\n\u201cAbu Umamah reported: The Messenger of Allah, salla Allah alayhi wa alihi wa sallam, said<\/strong>,\u00a0\u201cI guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for one who abandons arguments even if he is right, and a house in the middle of Paradise for one who abandons lies even when joking, and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who makes his character excellent.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
