Allah Subhanahu wa Ta\u2019ala \u00a0mentions in the Qur’an:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint.”<\/em><\/strong>\u25ba{Surah Al Baqara,Verse 183}\"3<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Ibada is not an objective for itself. It is a means to the objective which is taqwa of Allah (generally translated as God consciousness).\u00a0Many of the ibadat have patience as their objective. Reported in hadith Al Tarmidhi Ibn Majah with hasan isnad:\u00a0<\/strong>Fast is half of patience.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>So in fact it\u2019s a school who\u2019s goal is\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>to gain piety<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Signs of success for Ramadan fasting:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Are you better than the previous Ramadan?
\n– Are you closer to Allah?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
