Hadrat Ali bin Abi Talib Radi Allahu Ta&#8217;ala anhu was a first cousin of the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam . More than that, he had grown up in the Most Beloved Prophet&#8217;s Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam own household, later married his youngest daughter, Fatima Radi Allahu Ta&#8217;ala anha, and remained in closest association with him for nearly thirty years.Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta&#8217;ala anhu was ten years old when the Divine Message came to Sayyadina Hadrat Muhammad Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">From him narrated Abu Bakr, `Umar, his sons al-Hasan and al-Husayn, Ibn `Abbas, `Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr. At the same time he was the repository of Prophetic wisdom among the Companions. The latter, when asked about difficult legal rulings, deferred to others the responsibility of answering, while Hazrat `Ali, alone among them, used to say: \u201cAsk me.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">When Hazrat `Ali(Radiyallahu Anhu) was given allegiance as Caliph he moved from Madina to Kufa in Iraq and made it his capital. His tenure lasted five years (35 AH -40 AH) marred by three great dissensions which tore apart the fabric of the Muslim Community:He nevertheless introduced a number of reforms, particularly in the levying and collecting of revenues.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">He was martyred at in the holy month of Ramadan by Khawarij.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><u><b>Moula Imam Ali (Radiyallahu Anhu)\u2019s early Life<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Hadrat Ali bin Abi Talib Radi Allahu Ta&#8217;ala anhu<\/strong> was a first cousin of <strong>Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam<\/strong> . He asked the Most Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam about the meaning of their actions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The Most Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam told him that they were praying to God Most High and that Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta&#8217;ala anhu too should accept Islam.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta&#8217;ala anhu said that he would first like to ask his father about it. He spent a sleepless night, and in the morning he went to the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam and said<i>, &#8220;When God created me He did not consult my father, so why should I consult my father in order to serve God?&#8221;<\/i>&nbsp;and he accepted the truth of Sayyadina Hadrat Muhammad&#8217;s Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam message.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"hazrat-imam-ali-radiyalahu-anhu-s-struggle-and-hardships\"><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><b>&nbsp;Hazrat Imam Ali (Radiyalahu Anhu)\u2019s struggle and hardships<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><b>&#8212;<\/b>&nbsp;When the Divine command came<i>, &#8220;And warn your nearest relatives&#8221;<\/i>&nbsp;<b>(26:214),<\/b>&nbsp;Sayyadina Hadrat Muhammad Salla Allahu Ta&#8217;ala alayhi wa Sallam&nbsp; invited his relatives for a meal.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">After it was finished, he addressed them and asked,&nbsp;<i>&#8220;Who will join me in the cause of God?&#8221;<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">There was utter silence for a while, and then Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta&#8217;ala anhu stood up<i>. &#8220;I am the youngest of all present here,&#8221;<\/i>&nbsp;he said,&nbsp;<i>&#8220;My eyes trouble me because they are sore and my legs are thin and weak, but I shall join &nbsp;&nbsp;you and help you in whatever way I can.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/i>The assembly broke up in derisive laughter.
